Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI (16 April 1927 - 31 December 2022)

"If we allow the love of Christ to change our heart,

then we can change the world. This is the secret of

authentic happiness."

As the New Year quickly approaches us, let us take a moment to remember the incredible life of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, who passed away this morning at 9.34 at the age of 95. While no longer serving as acting pope at the time of his death, he left a lasting impact on the Church as a whole before, during, and after his papacy. Let us offer up our prayers today in gratitude for all the beautiful work G'D allowed him to do, and for his soul, that he may rest in the arms of his King in Heaven until the end of time and beyond. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of G'D, rest in peace.
