A Bit About Me

Hi! My name is Katie Orloski and I want to help kids learn more about the Catholic faith and how to live it out! I am a kid too! I was born in Morgantown, West Virginia. I have lived in a handful of different places like Warsaw, Poland and Vienna, Austria. I lived in Virginia in between Vienna and Warsaw, and after, and now I live in Bellevue, Nebraska, just outside of Omaha. I have just moved there. I started out in a public school in Warsaw, but I have attended Catholic schools since my family and I moved to Virginia after Warsaw.

I like to be creative, and I love to write and draw. I enjoy playing with my brother, sister, and dog. I love making paper dolls with my friends. I love praying with my family, and I enjoy learning about the saints. My favorite saint is St. Edith Stein. St. Edith Stein is also called St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. I love St. Edith Stein because she inspires me to be brave.

My mama reads us saint stories before bed and we love to hear her read them. All day, I wait for bedtime to come because I love hearing saint stories.

I think about a lot of things before I go to sleep, and lots of questions pop up like, "how am I living out my faith?" and, "how can I get closer to Jesus?"
